Year 7 Geography

Hi to all the Year 7 Geographers!

You will soon receive your pack of assignments from school.

Inside the pack is the CD and various worksheets. You will find one geography worksheet entitled 'layers of the earth'. Keep this worksheet safe for one of your tasks.

The first lesson on your CD that you should look at for geography is The Year 7 Geography Review Lesson.

THis requires you to look back over what you have alrready studied. You will need to use your photocopied sections of the New Key Geography Foundations to help you.

The second lesson that you will need to look at is the Year 7 Geography Lesson 1.

This is an introductory lesson for the new topic of Volcanoes and Earthquakes. It is this lesson that requires the hard copy of the worksheet 'Layers of the earth'.

You should use the NEW KEY GEOGRAPHY INTERACTIONS with this lesson.

Read all the instructions VERY carefully and complete the activities on A4 lined paper or the worksheet.

I will expect the hard copies of your work when you return to school. Keep them safe in your binder.
