Tips for a well designed Presentation

Dear year eight students:
I hope you are all fine. I know that your form teacher has asked you to design slideshow presentations to be displayed on the International Day. I want you to read the following rubrics, check that you are following them and if you have any thing missing, please modify it .

Rubrics for a well designed presentation:

1- Think about the purpose of the presentation or the message that you want to send to the audience.

2- Think about the type of audience as this will determine the language level and the tone of your presentation.

3- Collect your content which is the appropriate text, images and sound files. The content could be collected from the internet, books and newspapers. You need to be careful of plagiarism.

4- Design the slides and build the structure of your presentation to have a beginning, middle and end.

5- Apply animation, sound and slide transitional effects.

6- Check the grammar and spelling errors.

7- Practice your presentation.
