This is today’s assignment for Rochester and Edinburgh:
Copy and answer the following questions. Show all your work

Recall that to get the Life size (real size) of the specimen:
Life size = size observed under the microscope รท magnification

1.What is the real size of an animal cell that is 0.1cm in length under the microscope when you are using a X10 objective lens and X15 eyepiece?

2.What is the magnification of a bacterial cell that is o.5cm in width under the microscope and its original size is 0.001 cm

3.What will be the size of a muscle cell that is magnified 1000 times and its real size was 0.001mm?

4.A flea’s life size (real size) is o.1mm what which eyepiece and objective lens would you choose for the flea to be 10 mm under the microscope? Show your work
