You should have received your mid-year vacation pack for GEOGRAPHY today.

Below is just a reminder of the research that you are ALSO required to hand in by the end of the FIRST week back after the vacation.

Make sure you work well on this as it will go towards your final grade for term 2.

FLOODING IN ASWAN

Your task is to write a report on the recent flooding at Aswan.
You need to make the report about three A4 sides.
Included in the report you need:-
• Map to show the location of Aswan
• Date of the flooding
• Reasons why the flooding occurred
• Immediate effects on the people and the environment
• Longer term effects on people and the environment
• What proposals (suggestions) might have been made by the Egyptian authorities (government) to prevent flooding like this in Aswan in the future.
