Expectations:
- research life for a child during the Victorian era in Britain and present basic facts to the class
- identify and compare attitude/opportunities, methodologies, and accessibility for children’s education

Task 1: Read Handouts “Queen Victoria” and answer comprehension questions in Humanities notebook
Task 2: Read “How do you work?” package. Read “Life as A Victorian Child” Assignment. Complete on A1 Paper (follow COPS, editing steps), prepare visuals, index cards for oral presentation. Include Bibliography using the format from Kensuke’s Kingdom and last term’s Independent project on Explorers.
Task 3: See attachment titled “Y5 History Link: The Victorians”. Take notes for 2nd individual research project/essay. Please note that we, as a class, will investigate in more detail after the break.
