Y5 Geography Assignment: Human Impact on Coastlines

Introduction: Review Save Our Coasts Class notes in preparation for assignment and quiz upon return to classes.

1. Read case studies on Maldives, Netherlands, Nile, United Kingdom, East Coast USA
2. Take notes on problems and solutions in Humanities notebook
3. “Save One Coastline” Assignment. Using your notes from class, attached reading material and research from the listed websites, as well your journal reflection about a world without beaches and seas, write about a 750 word essay including a current description of the place, what has happened in the past to save your coast, what are the plans for the future? Complete on A1 Paper (follow COPS, editing steps), prepare visuals and include a bibliography.
