As I said please don't worry.

You do not need a detailed knowledge of the Wars of the Roses. All you really need to know is
1) The names of the 2 families
2) The fact that Henry Tudor replaced Richard III as King after the Battle of Bosworth in 1485.

Your textbook will be fine, don't worry, guys! Remember i am testing your skills more than your factual knowledge!

I shall not be testing your memory of all the sources. As long as you have a basic understanding of the terms you shall do very well. There will be a source question but all the information needed will be on the paper. We must move away from learning everything by rote and move towards a better understanding of the period through the skills we have learnt. study

Use both of your text books for a good understanding of the period. Also look at schoolhistory.co.uk for good links/ideas.

Hello

For Abdul Rahman and anybody else. You do not need to know the names and dates of the sources in the book. As I have said many times, I am testing your skills and not your ability to remember every single detail!

A Primary Source is a piece of evidence taken from the time of the event. A Secondary Source is a piece of evidence from after the event.
