Try improving these sentences by adding ADVERBS which tell us how verbs are carried out. The verb in the sentence is highlighted in bold, and there is a blank space where write in an adverb. Remember to:

• make sure the adverb suits the verb
• note how adverbs can be placed in a number of different positions in a sentence, creating different sentence order.
