Year 1,

This is what you need to do for International Torlerance day:

The house you are in will be the country you will study for this project.
The houses are:
England- White house
Wales- Red house
Scotland- Blue house
Northern Ireland- Green house

So if you are the Red house your country will be Wales, If you are in the blue house your country will be Scotland and so on.

Here is a list for each of subject and the worksheet exercise you will need to complete.

Literacy: Flag worksheet
Research your house flag colours and then colour the flag supplied.
Research the monument, castle or landmark that has been provided for your country. Draw and colour on worksheet.

Numeracy: Lady bug work sheet
You should write the numbers from 1-12 and colour the bugs with your house flag colours.

Arabic: Picture/scenery worksheet
You should colour the picture and write two sentences.

History: Traditional dress worksheet
Use the traditional dress worksheet that matches your house and colour.

Geography: Map worksheet
You should research where your country is in the United Kingdom. Once you know you will colour the part of the map where you believe your country is. All countries should be coloured with the house colour.

Science: Animal worksheet

P.E: Football kit worksheet
