International Tolerance day

History (To be used by both year 7 and 8 history students)

As part of the international day celebrations for this year you are asked to present a display on the following aspects of your country's history.

1) How does the political system work?
2) Which religions are observed in your country?
3) What major wars and conflicts have affected your country in history?
4) What is the national flag and what does it represent?
5) Who are the main personalities from history from your country?
6) How was the country run before its independence?

You will be expected to construct a timeline of important events in your country's History.

Each of the Above Areas should be addressed and researched at home. Remember you must write this up in your own words and do not just cut and paste. You must also include colour pictures and maps to help you brighten up your display. When we are back in school we will assemble all of our work together in groups. In addition to the wall displays you are asked to produce a powerpoint presentation on one of the above areas. This will be shown as well as the wonderful displays you will be working on.
