| Hi Mr.Bennet, In the Wars of the Roses work sheet that we have written at the begining of the term there is a question which I am not sure of its answer. The question is: For How many years was Henry the sixth king of England. For 39 years or for 40 years because he became a king when he was 1 year old from 1422 to 1461 and again from 1470 to 1471. So, please tell me mr wheather I write 39 years or 40 years in the exam because in the sheet we solve it as 39 years Thanks, Ahmed Ismail | |

| 1) You don't need to know about Henry VI 2) Arthur should have succeeded Henry VII but sadly died. 3) An Act of Parliament is the term used to describe the passing of new laws which affecr the whole country
Regards
Mr Bennett | |

| Hi Yara, Look at your completed work on Henry VII and that will be enough. These are the main ideas. 1) Henry Tudor reigned between 1485 and 1509 2) Was a Lancastrian but married Elizabeth of York to bring peace to the country. 3) Defeated Richard III at Bosworth in 1485. 4) Forbade private armies from 1504 5) Was great with financial matters making England a prosperous country 6) Was a firm but fair ruler. 7) Should have been succeeded by his eldest son Arthur but sadly he died. Was finally succeeded by Henry VIII in 1509 | |
