Hi, i'm yara ragab in rochester .. i just wanted to ask about the sheet " function of the different parts of the microscopes" ques. 2 it says label the diagram there isn't a picture to label there are just boxes to write in ... pls reply asap...

Miss I have 3 important things in the CD that do not open at all !
Ola sent them to me but they also didnt open.

I know I was unreachable for quite a while. Let me reply to your queries....
1. Attaching files and emailing it to me might be difficult at times. If you can do it early in the morning or at night, the lines would be less loaded and hopefully they will attach. But I can understand, I hae been experiencing difficulties myself. So if you can't email them to me, print and hand them in on Thursday (As Abdel Rahman and Youssef suggested)

2. The CD had a document named "Study Plan". This plan organises the work for you. It looks like this:

Also the videos that you have attached explain what you should study first: watch "Y7_scienceV2" this gives you an overview.

3. I realise that some of you don't have words 2007 and that might be the reason the some of the documents are not opening. Farida and Yara, I will email you the worksheets you have asked for in a form that hopefully, you will be able to open.

4. As for activity 7a.2 you are suppsed to read page 2 in your science spectrum (as instructed in the presentation) and answer ALL the questions (Q1-3).

5. As for where you should be answering these questions, you may copy answer them in your science notebooks or in a word document Titled " UNIT 2: Cells Answers to activity 7A.2"

Ahmed,
When you create the 3D model, you are supposed to choose different "materials" that represent the structure of the organelle. For example: The Cytoplasm is a "jelly- like" substance so you can use anything that is jelly -- like (of course not really jely otherwise it will go bad".

Also the cell membrane has pores in it to allow the entrance and exit of different materials. Therefore you could use something like a mesh to represent that.....etc.

As for the rest of the organelles that you can't find something to represent it with, you can use Plasticine.

It is ok to answer on the sheet solong that I will be able to read your answers and of course that they are correct.

Don't repeat anything you have done. However, any other assignments. Try to complete on a word doc. or in your notebook.
