| Good Afternoon, miss Morsey,
I miss you soooooooooooooooo much. Miss in pupil sheet 28 in the last exercise in change to mixed numbers: it says 90 over 10. It's an improper fraction, we shall divide 90 by 10 to get an answer. This answer is the whole number in the mixed number. 10 is the denominator of the proper fraction in the mixed number. All the other exercises have a remainder when we divide the nominator by the denominator in the improper fraction to be the nominator in the proper fraction of the mixed number. This doesn't. I know I explained my question with a lot of confuse, but I hope you understand. Generally, when we divide 90 by 10 we don't have a remainder so what will the nominator in the proper fraction of the mixed number be. Will it be 9 and 0 over 10 or what?

| nice question hashem!! and no, your explanation wasn't confusing - well this is a trick question! u can't have 0 over something.. so 90/10=9, because there are 90 tenths in 9.. like for example 8/4=2 .. (eight quarters is 2)... so the answer will not include a fraction, it's just 9! it's a tricky question!! and i miss you too, very much!  take care | |
