Synonyms – words that have the same or almost the same meaning as that of another
word.
Directions: choose a word from the box that has the same meaning as the underlined
word in the sentence.
Then, write a sentence using the word you have chosen.
Finally, think of one additional synonym for each underlined word and write it on your paper.
