History International Day Assignment Year 8

Instructions for the History Display Work

Each of you will be working on a country in Africa.

England House – Kenya
Northern Ireland House – Nigeria
Scotland – Rwanda
Wales – South Africa

Please follow all of the instructions on the sheet International Tolerance Day.

Remember it is your job to produce an attractive but also informative display which covers all 6 areas. Please ensure you prepare this display using at least A3 coloured backing paper. You may do more than one if you wish. You are also asked to produce a powerpoint presentation on one of the 6 areas to be explored. A selection of these will also be shown. Remember to follow the instructions especially writing this up in your own words (typing is better) and including both text and relevant pictures. Try to make it colourful and pleasing to the eye, these displays will be shown to the whole school community and visiting parents!
