History Topic: Indus Valley Civilizations
Expectations:
- investigate beliefs, cities, water, homes, trade of Indus Valley, and the impact on daily life
- begin research life in Indus Valley and Aztecs and present basic facts to the class – independent compare/contrast culminating assignment

List of Attachments:
1. Indus Valley text pgs 4-10, 14-18, 22-23
2. Instruction to on line link to Snail Primary Resources: the Aztecs

Guided Practice:
Task 1: Read assigned text pages (listed on cover) and answer questions in Humanities notebook

Task 2: See attachment titled “Y6 History Link: The Aztecs”. Take notes for 2nd individual research compare/contrast project/essay. Please note that we, as a class, will investigate in more detail after the break.

Independent Practice:
1. Indus Valley questions due February 23rd.
2. History: Daily Life in the Indus Valley Assignment; Due date: February 23rd.
